My husband is a returning motorcycle rider. He has unrestricted license. I got the idea a year ago when we were buying him a bike. I saw one that I liked the look of that wasn't hugely expensive. I have been mulling the idea over since then. I probably won't be ready to buy a bike for another year. Need time to save up anyway. I want a moroon Royal Enfield Classic 350cc. I need to go to a shop and see if I can get on it. I think I will do a few lessons first to make sure that I enjoy riding.

Thanks for being concerned. You should know that I am a sensible type. So, I won't be taking any chances. Also, I am aware that cars are not always aware of bike riders. I promise to be very careful.

Looks good @Oaktree. It said postwar styling. My great grandfather rode a motorbike around the time of the first world war. I guess they don't mean that one...

Awareness is good @Oaktree I hope you enjoy it.
It's just in my previous jobs, I've seen lots of motorcycle gone wrong things.

Very Good @Oaktree Definitely something to be excited.
I've had my Motorcycle License for 30 years - Yet I've barely ridden at all in the past 25 years....
I remember how excited I was when I first got my Motorcycle License (& terribly scared when riding too).

Congratulations @Oaktree
I also used to ride and still have valid licence. Another rider also engineer said it probably made me a safer driver. Only start driving in a tin can car at 26 after 9 years on the road on 2 wheels. Motor bike from 17. Had good sensible friend teach me and help out with mechanics. All your senses are on alert for self protection. A family man on our court just got a bike and his toddler has toy motor bikes. Do your hubby or kids ride, or is it just you?
