Re: The magic of tidying

@TAB nice to see you. Pity the support button isn't working.

Hmm my place has scattered stuff but mostly in stacks. So less bombsite, more junkyard.

You've probably had a lot on your plate healthwise.

7 years? It still leaves a gap. Dunno what my late mother would say, she tended to exude disapproval rather than articulating criticism or anything else that could pass as guidance or encouragement.

Re: The magic of tidying

the usual roster of tests, scans etc ,yet outcomes not changed @Dimity

must have been father I mentioned re 7years gone. w.e never really got along. prettysure eh thought my Life was Failure.

He was completely absent parent. As may have said , others seemed to cope, it was just me ,the exception to the Rule . Apparently.

Re: The magic of tidying

Commiserations @TAB from another failure. We've survived.

Sorry to hear of your tests and scans. Fingers crossed the results are manageable. I'm booked in overnight in January for another one.

Re: The magic of tidying

@Dimity my support button is not working so well done on joining the 2 support groups. That IS a big thing 🙂

Re: The magic of tidying

Proud of you @ENKELI !

Re: The magic of tidying

..another one , what ? @Dimity  I am edging my way into december

Tomorrow's selection is:

  • ECHO test plus ECG( needs 400k round trip)
  • monday have to go back again , into actual CBD for some pre-op scans
  • then procedure on Friday next week (yes ,400ks ..again..)
  • then at least 1-2 more 400k trips before end of year

not been told whats happening after procedure re me being only the ONE person for anaesthetic rules and release fm hosp

they did not ring today (when they said they would)

just a big eff around , and its all on me , good or bad , ok all bad inthis case ba ha ha lol

Re: The magic of tidying

Oh @TAB that's a lot. Such a lot for you and yes as a single there's that expectation re overnight monitoring.  That's why I'm relieved I persuaded them to admit me overnight after routine endoscopy. I had a bad trot 4 years ago and worse earlier this year and didn't want to impose on extended family.

Can a neighbour feed your cat? Or is there a local cattery?

Re: The magic of tidying

..day or 2 doesnt matter re cat @Dimity  it can get inside house , plus will leave food out

yeah at regional hosp was way less fuss. they just found a room and that was it

its city ok outskirts this time, staff generally no people skills and sh!t workplace etc based on past visits

Re: The magic of tidying

Best of luck for tomorrow  @TAB hope it all goes well including drive to & fro. If I don't catch up with you again next week I do hope the procedure goes well.

I hate living in the city in many ways but proximity to medical stuff is a boon. I hope the regional hospital can meet most of your needs.

Take care.

Re: The magic of tidying

@ENKELI thanks for your support. I can't support you with the button either.

Happy to support you if/when you tackle the tubs in your carport. I need to get on top of my paperwork and IT stuff before doing much else. I've just reached out to a handyman for some small jobs I've been putting off.
