Watching 'Breaking Bad'.

JUst had to share my sheer love and enjoyment watching 'Breaking Bad' - Bryon Cranson is an incredible actor.  The writing is dramatic, compelling, funny, tragic.  Up to Season 4 now.

Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

I love Breaking Bad. It's a while since I watched it now though so I don't think I have any insights to bring to the table...

I remember completely disbelieving the whole premise at the start, as in who would seriously decide to start baking crystal meth because they love their family?? But once I got over that it was brilliant and sooo addictive!

I did have some minor qualms about the lack of strong female characters, but that's another discussion 😉

One of my favourite shows of all time!  Brilliant, and I felt quite believable, transformation of the main character.  Loved it!  What are your other favourite shows @stan?  Maybe we have more in common 🙂

I absolutely love Breaking Bad.  It took me about a whole season to get into it, but I am sooo glad I persisted.  I agree with @Former-Member, I think the transformation in Brian Cranston's character was believable, as was that his wife's.  The thing i liked most was that Jessie continued to refer to Walter as Mr White - I think it began as a sign of respect but somehow continued even when Walter did so many terrible things.  Any thoughts?

hey, that's great more folks into 'BB' - I ain't got TV so am splurging on a box set. Up to 4th season - think it gets a bit shaky? I didn't buy Jessie shooting innocent man (Gale) in the face!! HARD CORE. The writer's 'magic' gets a bit too wild. Agree with you its great he still calls him 'Mr White'? Nice touch. Going to try 'House Of Cards next. 🙂

Ah bugga!  Got to Season 5 and it really has fallen apart for me.  The writer's 'magic' is just too much.  Should of kept to 4 seasons instead of milking the cash cow!

We are in Season 5 atm and it is not as compelling as the earlier ones.

Somehow Walt's transformation makes him boring to me ... and I never was particularly fond of the females in the show .. apart from the baby goo goo.

Henk seems most appealing ... tough guy who has now suffered.

But we will finish it .. interspersed with Community to lighten the darkness.
