@Ru-bee That’s so good that you can chat to people about knitting which sounds like it helps to be in community. I like sitting at cages too and just watching people go by while I enjoy a coffee. People sometimes approach to say hello to me and my seeing guide dog. 🦮 Due to my sight loss it’s a bit challenging to have those wonderfully cosy hobbies to do. But I do like just playing around with craft stuff just for fun and reading. I also love cooking especially if I can cook for others and enjoy a meal together 🙂
Thats awesome you’ve got a couple of jumpers on the go. Yes something like a beanie would be perfect in on board luggage.

Cooking's a great one @Cuddlebear! Do you have any favourite things to cook?

@Ru-bee I love cooking stuffed tomatoes and capsicum in the oven with Greek style baked potatoes and a nice big Greek salad on the side. It’s very yummy and an all weather type of food. I also make some very tasty pasta dishes and a decent lamb roast! I cook a lot of Greek, Vietnamese/Chinese and Indian foods too. I’m also into baking cakes and Greek sweets and make a pretty decent baklava!
Do you like to cook? I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Ooh that sounds great @Cuddlebear! I've always wanted to learn how to make baklava! My partner's family is Greek so I've been slowly learning Greek recipes but I haven't branched out into desserts yet.
I do like cooking, but when it's weekend cooking where I can try a new recipe and really take my time, maybe put on some music and have a nice drink. Day to day cooking where I'm just getting it done as quickly as possible and usually doing it in a messy kitchen is not my favourite but it's okay.

@Ru-bee Hello how are you? I hope you are having a good day. It’s so relaxing doing weekend cooking and have a nice beverage at the same time. I hear you on the day to day cooking. Just trying to figure out what to cook can be stressful.

hey @Shaz51 @Cuddlebear@Dreamy @avant-garde @MissinTooth @Appleblossom @Blackcloud + anyone else passing through!
how's everyone's Thursday going? i've been using the finch app and working on practicing gratitude. wondering if anyone wanted to share something that they're grateful for this week?
my moment of gratitude was for the night sky. you can't see many stars from where i live but the moon was shining really bright earlier this week, and something about the quietness of the night sky was beautiful and calming.
