@PeppyPatti its definitely unfair, especially when you aren't even given the option of getting government housing cos supposedly i can afford private rental on my disability pension. If I could afford it, I wouldn't be limited on having to choose between paying bills or eating. But anyway the system is so messed up just like alot are. But I'm lucky that I was able to reason with them this time around, but I do worry about when the lease is up for renewal again cos I know they'll put it up again.

I'v been noticing that if I didn't have a dog, I wouldn't be leaving the flat at all. 

I'm struggling with that word ' hyper vigilance,' and learning to embrace getting older that the 5 years have brought me.

@PeppyPatti I'm glad you do have a dog then. They make such a difference in our lives ❤️.

Age is just a number my sweet, I refuse to act my age. I'd much rather embrace the young and humorous side of me and be a big kid at heart ☺️.

Dear @Dreamy 

I feel sick thinking of how to survive. I live in public housing in a nice area. It's a big complex about 300 units but it's not that big. 

I get disability - I'm mindful of I go somewhere for a cuppa I pay because they are on disability but iv got a bit more money being me. We saved for a decent car and my Husband's Mum just gifted us father's car. So that's a huge savings. 

@Dreamy would you try and sell your colouring and quotes  on postcards ?

@PeppyPatti I'm glad you live in public housing. I've been on the wait list for public housing for 15+ years at category 2 but when I almost became homeless in March this year I was told that I won't get offered anything cos I can afford private rental, despite the calculations really not adding up. 

I've worked hard to get out of debt that I was left with by the ex partner but as the cost of living keeps rising I'm not able to keep up with all the costs. 

It's great the you were gifted the car, that's a real blessing and I'm happy for you. 

My colouring has come to an end sadly and the quotes aren't mine, they are posted by the latest Kate and I just like to share them with the community.
