Brilliant @Glisten couldn't have said it better myself.
I feel exactly like that too.
If I knew you we could be amazed by your artwork and you could push me lightly on the shoulder about getting my painting finished ........
Let's do it here.
Have you done any more sculptures or pieces of art ?
I haven't but almost there ....

Sorry @AuntGlow I didn’t answer your question.
How do I maintain focus?
I maintain focus by using a cue. My cue is “Driver’s call”.
The action is; Don’t think. Do.
It feels like muscle memory.
Flow state.

@PeppyPatti Peps, I got a new Makita cordless belt sander.
I’m currently dressing the timber I cut. So that you can’t see the saw marks on the wood.
Then I’ll seal the wood and glue it up.
I need to get some Light Oak stain oil tomorrow. For a different project.

@Glisten I was a voracious reader and still am. I love books, the texture and smell especially. A now close friend of mine and I bonded over our mutual love of sniffing books!!
Until I was about 11 we didn't have a TV and when we got one it was a second hand black & white.
Mum used to get the dictionary out, pick a word and then ask my bro and I what it meant. It was a lot of fun, especially when my very witty brother would come up with zany answers. The 3 of us excelled at English and I am forever grateful that we didn't have TV until I was so passionate about books that when we did get a TV I rarely watched it.
How about you? I would imagine you'd be a fan of reading but given your ADD/ADHD (hope I got that right) does it make it difficult to concentrate?

So does the makita cordless belt sander have a special place in the kitchen ?
Our budgies are eating clover. We replace it every day ---- but personally ---- they are not too fussed with their eating habits.
Still in shock about this sofa my mother gifted Us. She told me my youngest brother doesn't like the sofa bed in it.
@Glisten @Oaktree @TAB @ENKELI @AuntGlow @Appleblosson @Emilia8

@ENKELI ADD & dyslexic BUT the bigger words the better. When other kids were reading D!ck & Jane. I was reading The Life of Greece by Will Durant.
@ENKELI my Retiisi, it’s time for me to come out. I am a Book 📖 Sniffer.
My granddaughter said, referring to herself. “These books 📚 are my soul.”
I designed the Reading 📖 Nook in her bedroom.
