It's good to go from the cert to the degree, but I thought you were going from degree and then considering the cert?
Or if you want to step it up slowly, you could also consider cert>diploma>degree
@Blackcloud A degree is pretty full on if you're not used to it.
But I have to say, the co-ordinators are pretty helpful though - if you get the right ones 🙂

I'm good thanks @Shaz51 . How are you?
I'm really hating these cold nights in Country Victoria. Minus 2. Minus 4. We aren't even in Winter yet. But my dog looks good in her knitted jumper. Mum bought it for her last year. I'll have to get another one when I go to the big town.

@tyme yeah that’s what I was aiming for. Going from the degree to the cert. Sorry I had to quickly edit my post before you began to respond
I edited the part on the original post where I’ve mentioned ‘after’ to ‘before’. Sorry to confuse you there before hehe
“May I ask why you think it might be a huge jump if I choose to go on the degree before I move onto the cert?”

@Glisten ha! I love it!!
My dumb antivirus did an update and blocked access to any Australian sites, like Sane and even Coles no less. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Think I might look for a different AV when this one expires next month.
Yes, being blanketed is frustrating and I know it's for our own safety blah blah blah but the rules seem to change - an uneven playing field at times it feels like.
I'm off to bed to read a book. Or something. I hurt my back and have taken ***blank*** to ease the pain. As Al Pacino said in the movie Dog Day Afternoon "Sciatica! Sciatica!"

Hello @Shaz51
I’ve just seen your message. This morning I’m very groggy from my psych meds but I’ll feel better in 2 hours or so. They make me wobbly on my feet so I’ll probably shower this arvo.
Can’t believe it’s another 70mm torrential rain forecast for us today. Sooo sick of grey skies. Grr.
That coffee looks delicious. I’ve just enjoyed a cappuccino.
I’m pretty happy and contented this morning, having slept well which helps in every way! Mood, energy, kinder self-talk, etc. etc.
I hope you’re going well too.
Take care,

Maybe a hot water bottle would help your back pain…?
What are you reading please? I’m always curious about books!
Take care and heal quickly,

@tyme wrote:Do you think it is better to start with the cert and then move to the degree if it is in the same field (or similar field)? It's a huge jump otherwise I reckon. @Blackcloud
Just a thought. Sounds so exciting though! And the work you are already doing here on the forums can add to your expertise in your studies 🙂
@tyme also just want to say that i actually hate it when people give me suggestions that i don't fully agree with (including yours) so i get a bit offended and frustrated in that sense. anyways, other than the response i gave yesterday, i also want to add (in the realest way possible) that i find this sort of suggestion a bit unnecessary, especially as someone (like myself) that has never done a degree before and is already 5 years late in doing/starting a bachelors degree (of any field) on, and ive already done like two different cert iv courses within those past few years. im not going to waste my time by continuing to delay on heading into undergraduate when thats where i should already be at. sorry to be a pain in the neck, but i do have to be real to get it out of my chest.
you also mentioned that a degree is pretty full on if I'm not used to it. Well, I am gonna be doing just 2 units per trimester for the degree, and not 3-4 units per trimester or semester...

Absolutely @Blackcloud . Thank you for sharing your concerns and I apologise for making any suggestions.
All the best with it.
