Re: Best Friends Club

Yes @ENKELI you were the first person I thought of when I saw that horse.

I thought you might like it?
I like that they braided the horse’s tail.

And it had a butt blanket.

Did you start your day with Biblical readings?

Go get your Bible. 👉🏼 Open Bible 🤲🏼📖 Read two sentences.
C’mon do it for your Tomaatti 😊

The Caretaker/Property Manager/ Horse Trainer’s mother in law is in her God’s waiting room.

His mother passed last year. I think he is taking this harder.

Re: Best Friends Club

@Glisten I spent time listening to an online service this morning and I have my devotionals to do.

I shall send a prayer up for caretaker and family.

BOM tells me it's 18 but feels like 12. My feet agree.

I wonder if the museum would notice if I took the horse? Reminds me of a joke...

A bloke is coming back from Africa and next to him is an elephant with a piece of bread in both its ears. Customs asks if he has anything to declare. He says no. The customs officer looks at the elephant, then back at the bloke and again asks, anything to declare. Again the bloke says no.

Finally the customs officer says "then what are you doing with that elephant with bread in its ears?"
Bloke replies "what I have on my sandwich is my business!"  🤣🤣

Re: Best Friends Club

Iv spent the day walking Peanut and feeling tired. We went to visit an old high school friend in hospital .....a car reversed into him a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Best Friends Club

Hello lovely humans!

How are you this week?

@PeppyPatti @Oaktree @Glisten @ENKELI @Shaz51 💖

Re: Best Friends Club

@AuntGlow how are you Aunty? Life is going as it should be, I'm buying more plants than I should and catering to my cat, because that's what we do when owned by a cat!

I got an email from a recruitment agency asking if I was interested in a job they have on offer. Trying to decide whether to take a chance again in transport and logistics which hasn't been a kind industry for me.

The pay is okay but I would prefer permanent instead of casual work.

How have you been? Feels like ages since I last chatted with you xo 🤗 😘

Re: Best Friends Club

@Glisten I caught up with the mother yesterday and she is definitely interested in going to the museum with me.

She didn't even let me finish asking if she'd like to come with me to Zanthorrea before saying yes lol. I think I get my green thumb from her and her rellies.

I know you have a busy week this week, hope you are staying well, hydrated and sauna'd xo

Re: Best Friends Club

I know, it has been too long!! @ENKELI

I am well, very busy at the moment with work, study, and some creative things, but happy to be able to do things that I enjoy. 🥰

Owned by a cat, that's the way, isn't it? 😂

What new plants do you have?? I have drowned a few recently... oops. 🙊

ooh, okay. Do you have a pros and cons list for this role? And what kind of role do you think you would enjoy most at the moment? 😍

Re: Best Friends Club

@AuntGlow these are my 2 latest plants, my Jynxy Gerberas!

Named after @Jynx

I am running out of room so I am hoping I can convince my bro to help me with some minor landscaping.

I had the interview with the recruitment agent, next step is to forward my details on to the company they're recruiting for.

I figure if I'm meant to work there I'll get the job.

It's casual so it pays more but it also means no sick leave and no rec leave. I am hoping to take mum on a trip to Bali in the next year or so which means of course no pay whilst on leave.

I'll let you know how it goes xo

Re: Best Friends Club

Awww, bless! @ENKELI

So pretty 🌺🫶

It will be great if your brother can help you! What does the whole garden look like?

I like that notion, if you're meant to work there - you will! I am big proponent of experiencing things before deciding if it's right. You never really know until you know... you know?

Bali would be soooo nice. What would you like to do with mum in Bali?

And yes, not having paid leave does make it tough... there are pros and cons to casual work. You definitely get to enjoy more freedom when you're casual.
