Damn, anxiety and depression does suck, so I feel for you. I'm glad you reached out and found some support. I didn't look for help until after I tried to "escape" and survived.

same , even more when drinking @utopia  silly thing is that is 2nd time gave up long term.

GP told me not much point in quitting after mid 50s as dont get all the claimed benefits ie the damage is done. Have hear individual exceptions to that that involved a lot of exercise , but hey. someones father was telling them they could beat them at running and nearly vomited as were still smoking, then gave up and kept at it, now in Masters Games they were like nearly 80 when gave up. Good Luck. if you want to you will find a way. I tell myself things like if find out have say 2 years to live would start smoking again.
