@Appleblossom do you remember years and years ago I joined Sane to get tips on my two sons then it turned into a load of exploding stuff and I’m out of their lives. 
at least I have a grip of myself today.

Sadly @PeppyPatti my grandson’s mother is heavily into coercive control… so I don’t get much hands on contact… nor my son. She is 5 years older than my son and a vegan and everyone has to do what she says or she threatens suicide. Very over privileged girlie and high status daddy’s darling. Her games have messed with my son’s head for 10 years and caused all sorts of issues. I am also worried about my grandson’s future with her but don’t have legal rights apparently. I could report her to Protective Services and I am not convinced they would be any use. Remember I was a ward of the state as a little kid and well know the limits of professional meddling.

we are making do with loving our kittens… and everyone… students, neighbours etc know we are good with cats
