@Glisten & @tyme I am the same! I have a pair of microfibre sheets that ex friend bought me and I never use them. I have bamboo and cotton as well. Whenever Canningvale has a sale on I try and purchase a new set.

I bought 2 sets of Trent Nathan sheets from Myer back in the 90's. They were on sale and apart from slight fading on one of the sheets they just won't wear out.

As my crazy cat lady friend says, you had better like the pattern of quality sheets because you're going to have them a long time!

Tomaatti, there is an Adairs in the 'Vegas, otherwise Canningvale is having a sale at the moment.

@ENKELI yep, re quality bedding. I bought a little more a few years ago more for my son. Probably got enough to last.  So unimpressed with the low quality of fabric generally available these days. I used to sew a lot, so I know the difference.  I love my old stuff.
