Re: Night Shift

ah, yeah, blood flowing a bit and a few distractions helps. @Cuddlebear

I told someone would go to job interview 2hrs away this morning.I should have said no and made up an excuse. not sure what I was thinking. woke 5am, sent an email saying not coming.Been feeling bad about it ever since. dunno why. not the first time I've done it. Something sounds like it makes sense, then at the last minute realise its worst idea in the World.

Re: Night Shift

@TAB  It is Ok to have changed your mind. It’s a very long way to go for a job interview. Besides there’s days we just can’t go that far away and job interview can feel stressful so not always possible to go. You did the right thing by emailing and that is the best you can do. There will be more closer opportunities for job interview too so it’s all going to be ok.

Re: Night Shift

@TAB well done tabby re list.

Hope your cough gets sorted soon

Re: Night Shift

thanks @Cuddlebear  I can be a bit erratic. just the idea of money and something to do sucks me in . then I beat myself up about it lol

Re: Night Shift

Re: Night Shift

@Cuddlebear We have to make our food choices as we can. I was naughty and oppositional and bought a box of ice cream at supermarket. Had 2! Norty me.so if I am in healthy food credit I am allowed treats.

can you manage food prep?

Re: Night Shift

@Appleblossom  Ice cream is yummy in my tummy even in winter. What flavour did you get?

I have support worker for domestic help she chops things for me and makes a few meals. But she chops food so I can also cook myself. I can cook with some help of kitchen things for blind people. I have some sight so I can do some cooking. I use touch a lot and know which button to press for toast or to make a jaffle sandwitch. Microwave I have textile that tells me which button is which. Lots of other stuff too. Guide Dogs have cooking classes with occupational therapist so we can build some cooking skills. Over the years I’ve learned how to do some cooking because I love food and love cooking for people too. I take my time and do best I can.

Re: Night Shift
