@TAB  Yup I’m a big worrier and had no idea my foot was dying and nearly choked when surgeon said you are lucky you are alive. Then went in for 9 hour surgery. It’s rough isnt it being in hospital a lot. Same for me and with this disease I’ve already had 7 surgeries and more needed in future. I’ve spent months in Hosputal since turning 51. I don’t mind taking the meds but the side effects are wicked. I’m on 3 different blood thinners, BP meds and anti clotters. Plus mental illness meds which are pretty useless at this time. Nothing can do about it cause the meds keep me alive. Gosh that’s hard though having to go on meds because of side effects of other meds. 

Im sorry you’ve had a lot of alcoholism in family. I’ve been lucky my parents didn’t drink so I wasn’t interested in it either. It’s hard when family are drinkers and more likely the kids will too. 

That's really good you got the compression stockings they can help a lot. 

Im in the middle of moving to new rental. My cats won’t be happy at all.

um my parents didnt drink. siblings did/do, plus relatives.

cats will get used to it. just have to keep them inside for a while.

'my' cat turned up and hr or so ago, ate and left again.he's doing wild.something startled him eating,he nearly jumped out of his skin. has lost weight, hopefully gets over fences easier,he was getting a bit crap at it,ok had sore foot,plus misjudges sometimes . now he hasnt been around, he's getting dreadlocks again. he pulled his coat off literally last year.he is ginger and is like arctic version has multiple layers of hair
