Printers are hard. I was all set to buy a laser colour multi function recently. But the toners, while less annoying than stupid ink jet cartridges, are pretty expensive and I read that they don't like sitting idle either...which is what happens with my ink jet - I don't print for a long time, then when I do, the ink cartridges need 'cleaning' etc...

Mind you, my printer is kinda busted - the paper feed does not work properly, so I will get a new one some time lol

mate laughed at me years ago for having inkjet , had already had laser for years. I know inkjet cartridges dont like 'sitting'  had not heard that about lazer. quick look said ink for laser way cheaper ? (per copy) ok says 1200 pages for $100 for this one I get about 200 for $36 but do not use it much anymore now not studying, guess thats the key. can use library for quality,office place for quantity or newsagent orPO for availablity ie if library not open yet

plus stupid printer wont print now unless fill colour ink even if set it to black. @StuF  oh yeah its cattle market for employers re next 'appt' so will be some local white slaver/min. wage place that no one wants to work for checking over the flock ..lookiing to see if their ideal employee has been at DES the whole time .. lol I got sick cert last time they pulled this, anyway , I rarely say am sick for 1 appt, so could ring day before and say have covid lol

ahh @Gibbs  pretty much what I was looking at  Hardly Normal has HL-l2445DW for $158, not too many other sellers around here unless pay for postage
