@TAB ... Maybe being a kid in those days.... isn't for sissies. My youngest brother loved the saying... What doesn't ki ll us makes us stronger. But he died young too. 3 of them died Young. I guess its Fire in my belly now.

Not surprising @Appleblossom as there are fairly large indigenous populations in Darlington and Redfern which are nearby

Yes @Till23 and I would hear dad talk to his mates about Redfern etc. He knew them all from the orphanages and so were like family for him. He was only in 2 orphanages his whole life, the baby's home til 5 and the kids home til 16, so their bonds would have been strong.

For a long time I wanted to go and be with them @Bunniekins ... But I have children. Now maybe finally I am more "in recovery".
