Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  Hello lovely how are you? I’m sorry it’s taken a while to respond. Thwt was a really heartwarming reply to me. I want to really thank you.

Really have had a horrible couple days and it’s been too hard to even come into the forums. I’m trying so hard to lift myself and to do just what I can. I have GP today for ECG results but appointment is later today. Pretty nervous.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Hello my sweet @Cuddlebear, I'm doing as ok as i can be. No need to apologise, you're allowed to take time for yourself, we will still always be here for you ❤️. I really hope the appointment goes ok for you today, I'll be thinking of you. Sending you hugs beautiful ♥️

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  Sending back big beautiful hugs to you too. And a big hug for Caspar as well. Have you had a peaceful week so far? Did you by any chance hear back from your counsellor? I met my new psychologist yesterday. She was really nice and the session was an intake getting to know one another. It was good to finally be off the waiting list. A referral was also sent to APARC. I’ve never been before. Pretty nervous about it.

Yes I’m hoping whatever the problem is it isn't huge. I guess I’ll find out later today.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

Thankyou beautiful @Cuddlebear, Casper loves his cuddles too ❤️. My week has been a bit all over the place. No I never heard back from the counsellor, she has ghosted me. I'm glad you met the new psychologist yesterday, I really hope you find her helpful. Hope all goes well with the APARC referral, you've got this sweet ❤️.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy  I’m genuinely really sorry to hear the counsellor is ghosting you. It’s very unprofessional and also upsetting. I hope you are not blaming yourself? You’ve done nothing to warrant that behaviour. A lot of these services are such poor quality and people suffer more which is not ok.

Yes I am hoping it will go well with psychologist. Counsellor went badly as in no good at all.

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Cuddlebear its just really hurtful and I do go to that self blame, cos its like why was i stupid enough to trust and allow myself to open up. It takes so much courage to actually open up and talk about things and then to be met with being dismissed or made to feel like you are too much, it just makes reaching out to someone else again even harder. But anyway, that's enough of that.

Fingers crossed the psychologist goes well for you sweet, I hope you can get the support that you need and deserve ❤️

Re: ~ The Toolshed ~

@Dreamy I can completely understand that it is hurtful and that the trust you put in them hasn’t being treated with the respect and dignity that you deserve. Dreamy you are worthy of their time and you are not too much. Your courage in reaching out and being honest and vulnerable shows that you have been willing to do the work towards recovery and you are someone who is worthy of a counsellors investment of time and support. They have acted disgustingly and should not be working with vulnerable people. I am hoping in time you will be able to find a counsellor who takes their job seriously and who you can build trust with. I do know how awful it feels as it’s happened to me too at different times and to people I know too. Thing is you do deserve it. You are a beautiful soul and I want all the best things in this world for you and for Caspar.

A big problem with mental health places and services is the poor attitude of staff. No one should ever be made to feel awful for reaching out. Unfortunately, a lot of people have that experience and it is not their fault or yours. It’s the service and staff.

Thankyou sweet @Cuddlebear ❤️. I'm sorry i just don't have the words to say anything else right now.
